andré zacher has worked as production sound mixer, sound designer and re-recording mixer since 2004, after completing his diploma certificate in audio engineering at university of music duesseldorf and university of applied sciences duesseldorf.

he uses his own equipment for recording production sound all over the world and is owner of a protoolsHDX-based sound post-production studio with 5.1 surround equipment for editing, sound design and re-recording.

ndré has worked on location in albania, argentina, bolivia, botswana, chile, china, germany, ethiopia, france, greenland, the united kingdom, india, israel, italy, latvia, lebanon, mozambique, namibia, norway, austria, pakistan, palestine, poland, switzerland, slovakia, spain, south africa, tanzania, hungary and in the united states of america and speaks german, english and spanish fluently. his body of work consists of over 50 documentary and feature films.

andré was nominated for the german film academy award LOLA 2017, best sound design for „heart of stone“.
